Thought I would post this again.
My own problems about the EG film is just two points.
One: Twilight is the only pony. All others she sees are just humans who remind Twilight of her friends. They aren’t the actual characters.
and Two: The whole thing appears to be little more than Twilight goes to High School and deals with a bully while getting a boyfriend.
It’s just so two dimensional. I like the idea of Twilight and her friends visiting the human world but it should be for a bigger purpose. Not “go to high school and have slumber parties and braid each others hair while talking about boys” (which is what it seems to be).
Hell I would have been happier with it if it turned out to be a total ripoff of Full Metal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shambala as opposed to this tripe.
