Let me tell you a short story about something that happened about an hour ago.

As my mother left the house for some errands she had to run, my brother and I found a kitten laying on the ground near a tree. It was uhh, meowing? for some reason and it looked like it couldn’t move. It also seemed like it had been there for a long while, it was all dirty. We decided to take him to a vet. Once there, the lady dealing with us said it was pretty much healthy, that his weight and temperature were good and that it is probably old enough to walk on it’s own. She also said that it would be best if we could find the mother so she could take care of him but if not possible, we could effectively take care of it.

That’s about it, but I’m concerned. I’ve never taken care of a cat, and my brother says he’s allergic to them. We decided against leaving the kitten outside just hoping for the mother to find him and brought it in the house, that is, until we decide what to do next, find the mother, find a new owner or keep it as our own.

It’s currently sleeping over my computer because it’s warm, I put it there though. It hasn’t got up to walk on it’s own, this worries me, does it need it be fed soon? or is it just not of age? what should I do?

ANY HELP OR TIPS ARE APPRECIATED.

Just look at that cutie patootie.
